Good morning. I have created a plaster mold of a face and I want to put carbon fiber on top of the mold/face and be able to remove it once the carbon fiber has dried out. What product do I use to ensure that the Carbon Fiber will release from the plaster face/mold? Which Carbon Fiber Starter Kit do you recommend I use? The face is about 1 meter high, 1/2 a matter in width and about 30 Centimeters in depth from tip of nose to ear. Thank you very much for the help and advice. 
 

Hi Johnny, given the size of what you're doing and the materials you're working with (plaster), the best way to get a good release of the carbon fibre 'skin' off the plaster mould/former would probably be to spray the plaster with PVA Release Agent. PVA sprays well through a normal spray gun and you can use the spraying process to build up a good reliable layer. A wipe application would not be recommended because you can't wipe over an area that already has PVA on without accidentally lifting it whereas spraying PVA doesn't have this problem.

I think this would be an easy and reliable solution for you. Make sure the plaster is fully dried of course, otherwise you'll have a few issues!
