Sheet Wax is used to offset the surface of the part, it is wrapped over the piece and then the mould is taken directly off the surface of the Sheet Wax, thus the mould tool ends up slightly bigger than the original part. When you then make the part, it too ends up slightly bigger than the original. We have it available in 1mm, 2mm and 5mm sheet thicknesses; you can find it by following the link:

Hi all,
I want to make some covers for bike parts that they could fit over the existing part as a cover. But what is the best way to do this?
I need to somehow make the mould bigger then the original part i take the mould from. Any one can tell me how to do this?
Thanks
Thom
