I've watched a few videos now on resin infusion to give me pointers,I watched 1 video where they had the mould set up then after applying the release agents they sprayed a thin coat of spray adhesive into the mould then layer the 1st layer of carbon, obviously the carbon is held in place by the spray adhesive, what I want to know is what does it do to the finish on the outer surface of the part once its removed from the mould, will there be imperfections or does it get dissolved by the epoxy

Cheers Paul

Depends on the airtack you are using. Some do some don't.

I will be using the easycomposites spray adhesive and would only spray a light coat just to hold the carbon In place while layering it up in the mould as the mould will be a fairly complex mix of angles and directions
