Hi,
I'm totally new here and I'm certain I've just used the wrong product!  I made a tray for my wife and attached small photos to it.  I used glasscast10 and whilst it looks great, it's quite soft?  It would seem I would have been better using glasscast 3?
I guess my question is, would glasscast 3 have been more suitable, and if so can I apply a coat on top of what I've already done?  To clarify the tray will be used as a tray carrying crockery etc.  Many thanks in advance.

How long has it been curing? If it's 48h or longer at room temperature, you very likely made a mistake with the mixing ratio, or didn't mix the two components enough. Both resins will harden to a solid state, when used properly.

Hi, thanks for the reply.  Sounds like I hadn't left it long enough as it does seem harder now.  It had been 18 hrs but after 36 it seems much better.  Doubt I'll need another layer on top now, just a sand and polish.

Much appreciated

Paul
