Hi,
I am part of a team developing a new product which requires a 'plastic enclosure'. I have spoken to plastics manufacturers who refer to moulds costing upwards of £20k. We are getting ready to start a pilot, and don't want to spend that kind of money in order to produce - INITIALLY - 30 boxes.
In my spare time (HA!!)  I dabble in resin jewellery, so broadly understand the process of mixing two part epoxy resin and dropping it into a mould. We have a 3D printer.
Can anyone suggest a kit, or combination of tools, that we could buy to prepare the mould for a smallish enclosure (round, 8.2 cm diametre by 3.2 cm high), and the material for making the enclosures?
Thanks in advance.
