Dear All, I need to manufacture thick plates in Carbon fiber composite, 80 mm thickness, 40 mm width, 380 mm length. I would like to make them by hand layup, taking care of work by layers to avoid the exothermy bend or twist the plates. I am right?. Those plates will be then mechanized to make a kind of banana shape. I have epoxy lamination resin, so could I use it?
Attached are two pictures. 1.jpg is the final shape to obtain assembling the mechanized pieces, and 2.jpg is the profile to obtain once mechanized the thick plate.

your suggestions are welcome!

is there a reason, why you don't laminate the carbon in a mold with a radius? or even the whole ring in one go?. it has to be a good reason, because it would be faster, much stronger and much cheaper.

not all the items all equals and it should me mounted over a shaft, so the complete piece is not a chance.
And I will laminate it in a mould with radius, then it will be cnc machined. The plate was the first trial.
