Dear All, I need to manufacture thick plates in Carbon fiber composite, 80 mm thickness, 40 mm width, 380 mm length. I would like to make them by hand layup, taking care of work by layers to avoid the exothermy bend or twist the plates. I am right?. Those plates will be then mechanized to make a kind of banana shape. I have epoxy lamination resin, so could I use it?
Attached are two pictures. 1.jpg is the final shape to obtain assembling the mechanized pieces, and 2.jpg is the profile to obtain once mechanized the thick plate.

your suggestions are welcome!

Theres no real reason it wont work, but it's going to be a long layup for sure! I'd get some comfy shoes for that job...

Also, I assume by "mechanised" you mean machined? So you will mill the plates down into that banana shape? Why not just mould them in that shape to begin with?
