Is that really necessary or I can skip that part and still have a beautiful hood like the one you did? thank you and have a good day

I have some reservations about the fact that we featured the gelcoat in that video; we wanted to show another (useful) process but it is actually be less common to do this and more usual to just infuse straight into the mould (in the way we do in our 'perfect resin infusion' tutorial) and then clearcoat afterwards if you wanted to.
