Hi All,

Just a query about a carbon fibre section of my mountain bike frame that has a crack on it, would the repair resin be suitable? I've attatched a photo, hope it helps.

Many thanks in advance

Ian Todd

Hi Matt

Thanks for the information, only thought i have though is the external diameter of the piece where the crack is, is quite specific, how much thicker would the wrap make the diameter. Other than that sounds a fantastic idea, as to buy a new seat unit is 10 times the price of the kit

Many thanks

Once round with the 90gsm fabric would add about 0.1mm to the redius (so 0.2mm overall to the diameter). This might be fine but if it's a very stug fit then it could be a problem.

Hi Matt,

Once again thanks. That seems very acceptable think i could get away with up to 0.3 or 0.4. So will be ordering the kit this weekend.

Many many thanks for your advice.
