Hi guys, after your very first coat in the video you sand the part, if it's a flat piece or there's no joins ect is there any need to sand or can you just add more coats after it gets to the tacky stage.

I thought so, but theres a couple of videos that they sand something so thought best to clarify!
The main reason for sanding is to de-nib, so you get rid of any sharp edges, dry fibres, etc. If what you are doing is flat or a simple shape, then there's no reason you can't skip the sanding provided you're still within that 'tack-free' window.
