Hi Leon,
You can run 2 layers of mesh to speed up the infusion, however this does have it's problems; if the resin flows too quickly through the mesh it will run ahead of the flow on the tool face this can lead to pinholes, the thicker the laminate is the worse this effect will become.
There is a trick to getting good results with a double mesh though; the resin flows very quickly at the start of the infusion (this is where the problem will be worst) to slow the infusion down you can restrict the flow of resin by not opening the line clamps fully at the beginning, as your resin flow begins to slow across the part you can open the clamps further to increase the rate. This will provide a quicker infusion overall.
Another thing you could try is to run more resin inlets onto the part this will allow a faster distribution without having to double up the mesh (which will consume quite a bit of resin) other than that there is trying to work somewhere cooler or mix the resin in a series of small batches as the resin infuses.
Thats some great work your doing... keep it up and keep us posted!
