Morning,

Metal Brackets (think alternator bracket, rad brackets), can these be done by doing a "squash" mold?

By that I mean buy 2 brackets (they are cheap) wax up, epoxy, layers of carbon, squash the 2 brackets together (in a vice/clamp) and leave to cure?

Or is it always better to make a mould and vac it?

(I can get the brackets for 99p on ebay, so two is £3 delivered, thats alot cheaper than buying epoxy for instance)

Having looked at some of the brackets, they will need a mould making, others are flat so am wondering if its easier just to buy some flat sheet in and cut to shape, cheaper too!

(and cost is always a factor when its a simple part thats only going to be a one off)
