Hello, making a plug for a motorbike tank from the original tank.
I have sanded it down and used filler primer as there were a few
small dents and scratches, they have all been filled and smoothed,
next I will polish the top half.I have got mould release wax,
semi-permanent release agent and P.V.A.release agent.Which off
these would work best on the filler primer.

Thanks for the reply,I have never used filler primer before,so not to sure
what works best wax,P.V.A. or semi perm. Will do as you say and do a test
first. Will most probably us wax and P.V.A. to make the mould as I now this
works and have had no problems before with primer. For making the part I
will use the semi-perm.
I have been fibreglassing on & off for about 20 years, new to vacuum infusion
and using semi-permanent release. Will have a lot of questions as I go along,
some will be simple to most people on here, but to me they will be confusing.
As long as I learn I'll be happy.

   Cheers Paul
