Hi, 

I found some Nomex/Kevlar honeycomb sheets in our warehouse and it has been there for a few years. Is this honeycomb still usable and how can I tell?
It has been stored indoors the whole time with a plastic cover over it (it is not sealed).
How does honeycomb degrade over time? How should it be stored to prevent further degradation?

The Nomex we sell has no formal shelf life as long as it is protected from UV exposure.  I would have thought yours would be similar.  If you can find out the original manufacturer, you may be able to ask them if there is a shelf life on that specific product.

I don't exactly know the shelf life, but if you want to use it, begin by heat your honeycomb core in a oven to remove the water/humidity accumulated during years.

Nomex is a material that easily absorb humidity...
