hello,
i am a new guy here and  at the world of carbons!i want to create a laptop base from carbon ( i need it and i found it easy for first try). my problem is which materials i need to use to create the surface that i need for to do resin infusion and how to use these. the mold that i have is from wood . i think the surface from this video ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VodfQcrXpxc ) is that i need. i tried to find the right kit to bought but i couldn't make it...
thank you for your time and any help will be welcome!

Hi, not sure why the link doesn't work. The product is from Easy Composites and is on their website under Mould Making materials, it is the Epoxy Mould Making Kit.
A picture of the "mould" will help as I am still not sure if you are describing the "mould" or the "pattern". Either way if it has been CNC machined from wood then the grain will need sealing. Epoxy coating resin may be suitable but more information would help.
