Front CF diffuser damaged..

Guys, I need some input. Just 2 days ago I installed a carbon fiber (that's what they call it) front diffuser on my SRT Jeep. Being too enthusiastic, I used rivets which were one size too small and today the center piece dropped down a few centimeters and I scrapped out the middle part (see picture).

Just bought a carbon fiber repair kit from the site. Will this kit get the job done? Do I need more stuff? Never done such repairs. Or am I way over my head. All input is very welcome and thanks!

To get the cosmetic finish back, i agree you would need to skin a fresh layer of carbon over the top of the damage. But it is a lot of work.
