Catch pot lid cracked during normal use

Has anyone had experience with their catch pot lid cracking during normal use? It wasn't cracked when I set up my system for infusion but after I left it overnight and came back, I have two rather serious cracks in the lid which also caused me to lose vacuum entirely.

Definitely strange. Is it an Easy Composites catch can? Has the acrylic been exposed to any solvents like acetone?

It apparently is a QC issue from the vendor. No, it wasn't from Easy Composites, but I just contacted the vendor and they said it has been known to happen to that product. They sent us a new lid free of charge. Thank you for your response!
