Motorcycle exhaust heat shield

I dented my factory metal heat shield on my KX 450F and want to create a similar one out of carbon. I've made lots of carbon bits over the days but never a part that bolts directly to a high heat part. Temps reach 400F at the exhaust flange and the pipe bends and at about 12 inches from the flange is where the burn/heat guard mounts. For temps that would be likely around 350F, which resin should I use?

you can get a slightly higher temp resin from EC here.  However i would agree with twinfox that realistically youd want a heat reflective barrier on the inside.  Especially if its for cosmetic reasons.

make sure the part is fully cured either during the process in an oven or using a post cure process as otherwise you will find it may go soft under high heat until it really is fully chemically cured throughout.
