Hi Kumar,
Deciding upon your resin really depends on the process you will be using, the conditions the part will endure, the performance required and the cost. You will find that the actual name that suppliers use will be completely different as they are essentially just brand names, for instance our 'EL2' is simply an abbreviation for Epoxy Laminating resin revision 2, you should consider the mechanical data (you can find this on the technical data sheets for the resin) for the resin an select one with the properties that suit you the best.
We supply many SAE teas with resin for constructing the body panels, the EL2 is used where the part will be made using a wet layup method and the IN2 when the components are to be resin infused. The mechanical performance of both of these systems is a vast improvement on many of the commonly available resin systems on the market; I'm sure that you will discover this when looking into the mechanical data.
I will be happy to help with any questions you have on the body work construction, this is an area that we have a lot of experience in.

Hullo everyone my name is Kumar Ranjan. I am working with a formula SAE team.
We are planning on making a carbon fiber body for our next car. In this regard I found out some suitable epoxy resin grades namely Bisphenol F and A. But when I visited suppliers website the names of epoxy were different. As on "easycomposites" epoxy resins are named as EL2 IN2.
How do I differentiate what epoxy I actually need?
