Hi, Great to hear you like my videos and so on! I'll ask my local shop who the manufacturer is of that vac bag film...
Not sure if he will give it to me (for commercial reasons Wink ) but I'm sure someone from easycomposites could help you as well,
normally all vac bagging films are selfreasing as well!

Not sure about that one kornpetpani,

I think its possible to bag with a releasfilm (non-perforated ofcourse)
most vacuumbag I use are selfreleasing as well and I use the vacuumbag as a releasefilm as wel for my prepreg parts I make Wink

Hi 20_rc_51, it isn't a dumb question. I've been in the same situation as you before.

You can notice the different between bagging film and release film easily,
  • Bagging film = designed to bag
  • Release film  = designed to release
You can't not use release film in bagging purpose ....

I hope you will get better.

Might sound like a dumb question but what is the difference between non perf releas film and the vacuum bagging material? How does it do anything differently?

misread... just realize it's about perf films, feel free to ignore.

The hole pattern is by  trial an error and how much resin you need to bleed from the stack, a lot of people I know just buy non perforated and make their own. (I haven't tried it myself yet)

I have been reading some information about perforated release film having many type such as P16, P31.

So, I would like to know how to choose those types ?
