I want to attach this tubule by looping it over a small hook, and don't want to start bending it before I have some advice. Is it possible to knot this, and if so, what knot would be best?

Do you have a link to what you are referring too?

Most likely you would not, as most resins used to make pre made parts are rigid, so would crack if you started bending them. Also carbon fibre does not like bending, and may snap the strands if the knot was tight.

The only way I could think of trying it was by applying epoxy to dry carbon, wait until it tacks and then tie the knot, allowing the resin to cure in the shape needed
