When I get a chance I post my progress,Ive done exactly what you have mentioned just finished fuel tank dummy. Made air box with ram air,now I can make fuel tank with dummy in place I can work out clearance for fuel tank,I will post photos this week.

There isn't any resin that is a bad infusion resin. Simply go to your local cf shop and ask about inf resin and they will get you one Most of them are pretty decent. In the topic of ovens, here is my construction, it works quiet good  http://www.talkcomposites.com/8597/DIY-hot-box--fridge

Firstly, hello, new to this forum, not so new to composites but it's been years since any projects. Im ultimately looking to do some custom things to my motoryccle. In this endeavour I've been searching high and low for suitable materials. I like to do infusion but also have considered OOA prepregs but lack of an oven and no idea how to build one is an obstacle in that regard. I intend to make an underseat fuel tank, subframe/monocoque and carbon dummy tank, and possibly a set of body work. My inspiration have been the legends/visionaries of motorsport/composites such as Britten, Durbahn, and many fine folk that have displayed their works of art on forums such as this.
