Hi,
I have made a mould for some headlight covers which I intend to layup using resin infusion, however there are some blemishes in the surface and the 'barriers' due to chips in the parts I have taken the mould from, along with a crack due to a slight gap between my plasticine barrier and the original part.
Is it best to fill these using the Unimould Tooling Gelcoat (will it set if left out in the open?) or should/could I use the High Gloss Pattern Coat?
Thanks

Yes use the tooling gel coat and then you have two options to ensure it cures and one is to use this product
https://www.easycomposites.co.uk/solution-mw-wax-gelcoat-additive
(preferred method) or you can place some release tape over the gel coat.
