Hi, just thought I should introduce myself. I am 53 young, located on the South coast near Portmouth, I still have a keen interest in most things automotive with particular interest in Kit cars having owned a Westfield back in the 90s and with  Cobra and GT 40 replicas on my wish list. My current daily drive is a lotus Elan m100 S2 which I have made some carbon parts for using the wet lay up method and I am in the process of building  a Locost Sevenesque "kit car" for which I have manufactured all of the GRP parts from scratch.

My latest project is a semi flexible front splitter for a friends Porsche 996 GT3, I have just recieved the materials for this from Easy composites and intend to get started over the Christmas break.

Just like to say what amine of information this forum is and hopefully I may be able to contribute.

Welcome, I think it is fair to say we are a friendly lot.
Much of the work I do is for the kit car market so I look forward to seeing some pics of your projects.
