Hi, i am David from western Massachusetts. I am looking to learn about making my own molds and fiberglass parts. I have been in the car business about 8 years, but have had little experience with fiberglass itself. I need a fiberglass for dummies handbook. I have watched several videos, like the one here about the mold for the hood, which did help me. I am really interested in making a custom fiberglass bumper cover for my car, as no aftermarket one is made. I know i need to make mold, and i can use the original bumper, however this needs some modification to it, as i want bigger openings, and the bumper to sit lower to the ground. If anyone could help me out and point me in the right direction to go about doing this, it would be very helpful. Thanks.

Hey david,

Welcome to the forum !!

For your bumper, it depends if you want to sacrifice your existing bumper or not.

Maybe you could start a new topic  here to help people answer you in a dedicated place.
