It's not really a joke, but an understanding of our regional language (dialects).
"Hey up, me duck" is an informal greeting most commonly associated with Derbyshire.
Here are some more examples - many I've never heard of!

How do my names Carl I own a small business called R-wraps I'm totally new to carbon fiber in laying terms although I have worked with it within the aircraft industry.
I'm looking mainly at skinning as my business at the Minuit is vinyl wrap and I mainly use carbon but want to go down a different route.
I tried Hydrographics but really struggled getting it right so want to try something new.
