As Matthieu said, probably made the glass first and then "wrapped" the back in cf

I think that on the top there is glass, and cf is on the back side, as it is meant for food - resin+food=bad combination :-)

about the price, you are paying the designer and the craftsmanship of the guy making the glass (still overpriced for a tray if you ask me Wink )

as far about the production I think they make the glass then covered the backside of the glass with CF

I was browsing through the net the other day and stumbled across this. CLICK HERE

I was amazed by the price but more so than the description. It says that the tray is made with Murano glass. Now how the hell do you put glass over a CF part? Wouldn't the glass need to be melted and spread over the part? If that's the case, wouldn't the superheated glass melt the resin? Or is this just bogus marketing?
