Hi! 1. No, after post curing the part has it's 100% mechanical properties. 2. You can post cure it after about 20h the part is in mould, you can post cure it even if the part is still in mould, it depends on your's mould system. Better is to post cure part in mould, because it won't deformate. 3. You may say so, but the key thing about post curing is that allows to archive better mechanical properties and HDT. for example you can demould a bonnet after 24h in room temp. and immiedietly you can mount it to your car, but it won't be so stiff. If you prepare some engine heat cover and you want it to resistant higher temps. you have to post cure it. 4. After 1 week part without post curing achives it's 100% stiffness, but still it won't be as stiff as it would be after post curing.
