Hi,

Are the resin systems you use for the pre-preg you sell (Vari-Preg™) available with other reinforcements?  Alternative weights, hybrids, aramids, glass etc.?  I don't have anything specific in mind at the moment but it would be useful to understand if these could be supplied.

Also, where's the link to the High Temp Tooling system?

Hi Andy,

We have a 400g version of the Vari-Preg to go with the 200g that's listed on the site at the moment. In fact, we'll get this added to the site in the next few days. We don't have any other reinforcements that use this same resin system at the moment but it's very good and so I could well imagine that we'll have some other weights and possibly some unidirectional reinforcements.

Anything we manufacture using the Vari-Preg system we tend us use moulds made from Uni-Mould. It's perfectly happy at 95C and operating at this tempertaure the Vari-Preg cures very well and the moulds last forever. Uni-Mould Universal Mould Making System.
