I'm a graphic designer for my day job, but I have been building and flying model planes for a number of years, I have just recently got into FPV (First Person View) which is for those who've not come across it before, basically flying model planes with goggles on displaying the images from a video cammera on the plane, so it's like your flying it, check-out this video for an idea of what it's about http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=M9cSxEqKQ78 The gear on my plane is getting heavier so to get good endurance my plane needs to get lighter, which is why I am here, working with composites is meaning my planes can get lighter faster and stronger! I look forward to helping people out where I can and sharing my (fairly limited!) Knowledge.

That video was insane! I'm big into my flying (microlights and models) I look forward to seeing what you build. I might look into some FPV gear for myself... another way to blast some money I'm sure!

Welcome to the forum,

I have a freind who's got a cam on his plane he seems to be crashing all the time though! I'm working on some parts for a micro wind turbine so i'm sure a lot of the problems and construction with be similar.
