Hey there,

Here's my very first attempt to carbon fiber / epoxy stuff. Its my welding helmet. My main problem with it was to make sure the CF conformed to every curve. I messed one attempt (bridging everywhere) , this part here is the second attempt. i was happy as a child in a toys store when i finally made it.

I used regular infusion resin (not the high temp), and it dont melt or soften at all during use. Surprisingly should i say.. There is 2 layers of 3k 2*2 twill. The mold was made using polyester (yeah I know what u thinking...).
