Nearly there.... Need to release up the plug and start making the mould....

Very nice work!

I had made some swing arm covers for my bike but as I also wanted to have my own hugger for it too I decided to use an old Works Yamaha world superbike hugger I had sitting here. it needed to be cut and shut to make fit but I had a go and came up with this...




It was a little rough and ready but after a little work and a splash mould from the original mock up I made a thicker stronger version to work on and finally make my plug... Here it is ...

This is before sanding and polishing to get the finished shape.


Here it is polished and although it still needs some work still to get it ready for me to mould off it is what the finished part will look like. Just the finished part will be carbon.
