You just need rocket launchers and machine guns on the sides now!! Looks awesome!
Cheers..
No rocket launchers or guns.. They add weight... Only the use of the right wrist and put fear into the other riders.. It is surprising how a slow shake of the head when you pass another rider can deflate them... If you pass someone and you are on the edge of crashing as you over take then slowly shake your head like they were holding you back... They seem to slow just like you shot them with a rocket launcher.... haha..

Great work!
I would be really curious to see how you got that tank section molded, do you have any pics of that? How did you manade to make the tank and have it hold fuel and also be part of the mono?
Hope these photos help...

It looks fantastic! Would love to work with prepregs some time
I´ve just got one question. It may be somewhere to find in the mould section but i dont know what I´m looking for. How do you make the edges, that extend over the parts, to make the surface for the tackytape on the mould? It looks like a foam but it looks like its quite easy.
Thanks

What you said on the phone makes sense now. Nice prepreg work!
BTW I spoke to Crispin from PRF last week, he's got low temp 200g prepreg on the 464 system which he can impregnate only on one side. He reckons it approaches VTF. He's meant to be sending samples down.
Cool... I have to get some for another customer project... The irony is I was asked to make the part by our mutual friend.. He sent me a mould "Not a great mould but it is a test part and if the guy is not happy I will make another one" It was less then not great...lol.. The top mould is one I sorted out and the lower one is one I was sent! It looks like it had 100 pulls from it but it only ever had one and even after 6 coats of sealer and 6 more of release it stuck! You can see where sanded through the gel coat and it was rough because he painted the part to get a good surface on it and the paint stuck inside the mould and had to be sanded off!
Now you see why even when the parts were sent to Vic to be moulded I was reluctant to let him make my kits... He talked a good kit but I never saw an actual part then I was handed this mould to work from... He even had the cheek to tell the customer it was not good due and it was my fault... But looking at the mould and it being 20mm too narrow would have made it a miracle if it was good enough for his customer... Now I have been asked to do the work directly as the guy had paid him almost £1800 for that awful mould and a crappy part...
So next week I am trying the 464 carbon in this new mould...
