Hi all,
Just found this forum. I've bought a few bits and bobs from Easy composites over the past couple of years and mainly been working on hobby projects, making the odd part and refining my techniques.
Recently I've carbon skinned a few motorcycle parts (including a full bodykit for an XR650

and have had very good results with the epoxy tooling gelcoat the host site supplies, having taken a few molds of simple, one part bodywork components.
I'm looking to start experimenting with resin infusion (when time and money allows). I already have the equipment but am looking at mold design, I'm very interesting in CAD -> rapid prototyping techniques for forming the tooling but tbh for the time being I think it will be more traditional methods of creating a plug and taking a mold from it. I'm also considering creating a motorcycle tank using a lost core process.
Anyway, thought I'd say hi and will try to post up any projects I do, pick people's brains and help out where I can
Cheers all!
