Some explanations to a newbie :)

Group: Awaiting Activation Posts: 1, Visits: 9	Hi guys! I am going to make my first project with my friend Henrk but I need some explanations about the gel coat. I was reading the technical data sheet of clear epoxy gel coat and I didn't understand what the "tack free state" means. That was my first dubt, the other one is: after applying the second layer of gel coat, can I start immediately with the layer of resin and reinforcement? Or do I have to wait the "tack free state" also for the second layer of gel coat and after that start laminating? Is it possible "accelerate" the time of gelification of the gel coat by using heat (for example hairdryer). Bye!
