Hi, just bought a uni mould kit from yourselves, partly to make a mould in about a month of a 40cm square display base, and also because i want to make a jacket mould to fit over a brush on rubber mother mould for a more intricate piece hence the rubber.

But i've never done this before, and am new to moulding in general, so was only going by vids i've watched on you tube that showed the resin and layers of glass mat being laid. It did look fairly self explanitory so... naturally I'm now confused! 

Can that be done with this kit? I'm thinking that the tooling resin and glass mat might do it, but am a little daunted, and just want to be sure before damaging my master.

Many thanks guys. I am new to this and you, but have already got two kits from you, and will be buying your degassing kit next week. So am going head first into this, and compared to moulding so far, 3d design, printing and scratchbuilding is easy by comparison!!!!

Although the principles are similar in all mould making, the Uni-mould system has a few slight variations so between the video above and the instructions you should be able to work out how to use it correctly.
