Hello,

I plan to make some reinforcements to a carbon windsurfing boom using your carbon fibre braided sleeve with hand layup.
These reinforcements, during the normal use of the boom, will be exposed to direct sunlight, so I would like to know if the EL2 resin I think to use can be considered UV resistant, or has a sort of UV filtering. Or considering the limited UV exposure time (at the maximum few hours every week) it may not be a problem.

All epoxys will degrade in time left out in the sunlight,clear coat is essential but if only occasionally in sun you should not have a problem,you could use armour 6  from halfords gives some uv protection. 

It depends also how thick the resin is.  On infusion made parts, the resin surface layer is very thin and thus yellowing will always be hard to see.
