i've seen courses at TAFE (college) to do composites within the avaition section here in oz. EC run courses if you fancy a short trip to the uk (just think of the goodies you could buy and bring back!) along with the flu as its always cold, damp, wet, grey skies or snowing lol

Hi Scott

I have never taken a course but have learned by the following method.

I find someone who knows what I need to learn and in a friendly way suck his brains dry and move on to the next one. (and I am always happy to share what I know as well)

It seems that composites are a type of black art. I imagine any course the average composite worker would take would teach you what you already know.

This site has taught me more than any where else.

To the group I would recommend that you contact Freeman Manufacturing on line. They offer a free DVD on the basics.

Its not as advanced as the EC instructions but is well worth having.

Hope this helps.

Fred
