Hi

I'm trying to make the front bumper of my honda civic ep3

The problem I have is that there are a number of layers it may need to be of adequate strength, and if you include some sort of core.

He planned to make a layer 200gr and 650gr a tending thickness of just over 1mm, with infusion

Let's see if I can lend a hand

thanks

I've made a front bumper for a rallycar and used 4 layers of material: CF 200gsm; Kevlar 300gsm; Kevlar 300gsm; CF 295gsm - that seems very strong although the shape & relatively small width (180mm) will help.

Your bumper is more like a panel and if its a Type R bumper there is a fairly long thin run across the bottom, I'd expect to use some soric or extra layer on the large side areas and to p[rovide extra strength along the bottom.

Hope that helps
