Bonding roof panel

Hi,
Soon I will be bonding the CF roof panel I made. It's an exact copy of the original metal panel.
The original panel was spot welded all the way around and some sort of very tough thick adhesive was used on the inside (shown in the pics) I cut this off when the roof panel was removed. 
I think I will use VM100 to bond the outer edge of the panel where it was spot welded, but I'm not sure what to use on the inside.
Any suggestions?

They are probably using a PU grab adhesive or similar as an inner bonding/seam sealer type joint.  The VM100 is a strong adhesive but remember you need to be able to apply and position the panel into place within the very short pot life.  That might force you to use a different adhesive such as the slower pot life PT326.  If its not structural you could do the whole job in a PU grab adhesive like PU18, Tigerseal, Sikaflex etc.
