In a project of diy cnc machine where weight is a point to get accuracy is it possible to replace core foam with epoxy-granite compression preform ?
I manage to first make preform expo y-granite. Theses can be very thick. What kind of epoxy to use ? What is the ratio between sand and epoxy ?
Second step will be to hand layup carbon fiber to join the preforms. Is is possible with EL2 or IN2 ?
