Good Afternoon All,
Looking to re-make the below in forged/compression moulded CF. Going to be making the mould from TC resin. However due to the 50mm or so leg on the one end I'm a little unsure of the best way of casting this. Current thinking is building up the underside (Red to the top) with plasticine, and just making a 50mm deep "piston" part of the mould. Would this cause me any issues?
Also looking for a bit of advice on the best release wax/agent for the detailed bits, and best method of application. As shown below:
