Hi,

I need to do a wet layup onto a part covered in a layer of sheet wax. As there are some tight corners I'm concerned the carbon will won't stick to the wax with just the resin. I was thinking of using spray adhesive on the first layer and then try to wet it through from the back.

Does this sound like the right approach? Or is wetting it through from the back a bad idea?

Thanks,
Jon

When you wet through the fabric the spray tack will stop gripping.  What you can try is brush on a layer of resin then allow it to B stage until just firm but tacky and the cloth should stick in place a bit better.
