Ive recently made an rc boat split mould.
Bottom and deck.

Using wet layup im leying down the boat. Then trim it and join it up. But. Now the hard part...   releasing it easy.

Ive made a few spots to blow compressed air in at the bottom half. And 1 on the top half.
But i noticed its quite firmly attatched  to the mould.. and not easy to remove it.

i was thinkinh to laminate some nuts in the mould so i can push them appart by screwing in a bolt.
But im afaid that im tearing my piece appart in the proces.
I know a few blows with a rubber hammer might help but again.  Im known for hitting stuff to hard and so i wanted to find a more gentel appoach.

Please assist me with this.
after i made the foto i tryed to open it up.

But that wasnt the most easy.  Its a catamaran model. So there are some complex shapes in the bottom that are not realy willing to work with me in terms of release. And i ended up with a half ruined piece.
No.  It did not stick to the mould and neigther has a machenic lock.  It just that the vacuum between the piece needs to be broken. And i cant realy see a good solution myself...    so i got frustrated and pulled it the wrong way.

The 2 standing sides on the inside of the tunnel are gripping.    And the mould is so stiff i cant seem to get those loose.     Ive used 7 coats easylease and 4 coats wax.   Nothing was left in the miuld. I wasnt gleud down so to say.

But opening it up .. isnt super easy.

I got it.   I drilled and tapped the upper part of the mould. Split beoutifull and super easy. i had a few airpockets between the glass and carbon. But after injecting them with resin. You hardly see it. ( i use hand wetlay with wet in wet joining.)   No vacuum.

Gelcoat was mixed with bleu candy dye and silver pearls.
