The problem I now have is that whilst I've a rough shape now of the section in plasticine I really need to sand and fine shape it but can't given it's plasticine. Was thinking of taking a mould of this small section, then making in FG, attaching then sanding and filling the FG piece - but this seems like a lot of hassle.
