I would like to waterproof a small box that houses a circuit board, my plan is to roll clear epoxy all over the inside of the match sized plastic box, as well as paint the pcb circuit board.

I have some left over XCR clear resin and would like to know if it's possible to use on circuit boards? I know some resins/epoxies have metal additives in to help adhesion, so if the XCR contains this I will need to avoid it.

Many thanks

There are no metal additives so from a conductive perspective it should be fine. It is thick enough to brush a decent coat on as well so see no reason why in theory it shouldn't work.
