Hello,

My pride and joy fell off its side stand and a couple of locating  lugs snapped off. The panels are the oroginal factory fitted ABS plastic panels.

Ive been told to place a layer of carbon fibre or glass fibre over the rear surface of the lug and the panel so it is supported. Apparently bonding/plastic welding will fail at some point in the near future.

Im new to laminating and using fibre cloth. I'd appreciate some guidance please.

I have searched for lugs and fairings but couldn't find anything motorcycle specific.
