Hi, I plan to wet lay a component that I need high strength, and also might need to withstand moderately high in service temperatures (I won't know till I make it and use it).
I notice on the datasheets that the high temperature laminating resin seems to have a much lower mechanical strength than the standard EL2 laminating resin, is this correct ?
On the other side, what the max temperature that the EL2 should be used until a significant loss in strength is seen ?
Or is there another resin that I should be looking at ? My component is a racing car part, I plan to wet lay carbon/epoxy over a 3D printed ABS core, then post cure.
thanks a lot, Paul
