Hi I have 3 questions.
1. What is the best way to cut the aluminium honeycomb sheet
2. Will easycomposites cut to size
3. What is the best hole size for a laser cutter bed.

Thanks

Kevin

The best way is, once expanded, use a metal ruler and a sharp knife to cut through the individual foils. That way the foils are cut all the way to the bottom so it does not rip/damage the foils as you split the cut sections.

We don't offer a cutting service for practical reasons as the the honeycomb is supplied unexpanded.

Generally the smaller the cell size the better.  We have seen customers using all the cell sizes for cutter beds but most commonly the 6.4mm followed by the 3.2mm cell size.
