Hello everyone!
I'm part way through turning a wooden bowl - I have turned the outside but not yet the inside. I have some cracks in the wood that I need to fill as, if I don't, the bowl will disintegrate if I turn any further. Not recommended! The cracks are quite fine (0mm - 2mm wide and maybe 10mm deep). I would also like to make features of the filled cracks so I plan to use some pigments.
My concerns relate to the resin fully filling very fine closed cracks and to the structural strength to withstand the remainder of the turning.
Please can you advise the best product to use for this?
Many thanks
Rich
